All that is fall

Fall Leaf Pendant in resin, by Kim Vandapool

Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I love everything about it – the leaves changing, the harvest, that crisp air, Halloween (don’t even get me started on Halloween), and the food. Oh, the food!! So naturally, I can’t quite help but become perpetually inspired throughout the fall season. It’s like the rest of the year, but on crack, in terms of inspiration.

This can be frustrating, because it’s not like I have more time in the fall than usual to make stuff. So I typically interrupt whatever important projects I’m working on to make fun, crafty things. The reason I’m telling you this is because you probably came to my blog under the appropriate assumption that you’d see some sort of religious, maybe even Catholic, art… which, ordinarily, you will. But in fall, all bets are off. I’m just saying, don’t be surprised when I upload a spooky Halloween notecard (or several), or a jewelry piece made with dried leaves, or a creepy little character sculpted in fimo. I CAN’T HELP IT!!

Thanks for understanding:) Oh, also I’d like to invite any others out there who love fall as much as I do to send me pics of their fall creations so that I can share them. We need to band together so we can represent!
