A thing of beauty

Even though the  Feast of St. Therese of Lisieux has passed, I wanted to share something my Czar-husband and I received from gracious blogger, Russ Rentler. Leading up to the feast day, Russ created a third class relic by touching a piece of clothe to a first class relic of St. Therese. He then placed a part of the clothe into a holy card of the Saint and laminated the card, so as to preserve the relic and keep it perfectly secure, forever a part of this beautiful presentation.

The fact that we received this relic is marvelous in and of itself, but I also wanted to note the beauty and care by which it came to us. Thank you, Russ, for aiding us in our devotion to this wonderful saint!

Prayer to St. Therese

O Lord, who hast said: “Unless you become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven;” grant us, we beseech thee, so to walk in the footsteps of thy blessed virgin Therese with a humble and single heart, that we may attain to everlasting rewards: who livest and reignest world without end. Amen.
