Welcome! My name is Kim Vandapool, and in case you haven’t gathered, I enjoy art. I love to create all different types of art – such as paintings, sculptures, crafts, jewelry, graphic design, and interior design. And that’s a good thing, since no one art form can keep my attention for very long (AADD). And since I’m such a zealous Roman Catholic, i.e. romy-papist, I do love to portray the saints and angels, and even Mary and the baby Jesus from time to time.

Being the self-taught artsy person that I am, you’ll find that my influences are less Leonardo da Vinci, and more Marvel Comics. It can be a strange marriage when you love religious art, for sure, but I guess them’s the breaks.

So please enjoy my artistic endeavors and various thoughts along the way. Some of my featured pieces may go on sale – at which point I will promptly throw up the PayPal button.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and I hope you come back real soon (and by “real soon” I mean I hope you follow me, bookmark me, subscribe, and also check back daily to make sure you haven’t missed anything)!!

Your UNiconoclast extraordinaire,

Kim Vandapool

Greetings! I’ve been at Patrick’s place, and meant to check you out. Started searching poetry and art…tada…found you. I enjoyed the visit so much that you’ve got me now! Beautiful jewelry, especially the sketch/resin work. I’ve always dabbled in art, photo art, and jewelry making. You’re a gifted creator! I’m gonna like this… šŸ™‚

    • Thank you so much for stopping by and having a look! I’m glad to hear from a kindred lover of art, and I’d love to see some of your work sometime! šŸ™‚

I’ll let you know when my gmail photo albums are done. Not much there yet. Don’t have my other stuff (jewelry & other art) available for photos…sold it + or gave it away. If I were skinny, I’d say “starving artist here”. šŸ˜‰ It’s just a hobby, but I love it. Warning you, tho…my photo manipulations are on the weird side. Guess they reflect me–who I was, who I am, and (just starting) on where I hope to be eventually…Heaven. Of course! šŸ™‚ I’m having a field day here. Thank you for your kind reply. I’ll be back…as in promise. No threat! šŸ˜‰

Your gravatar is cool. The one with the easel reminds me of Tim Taylor’s neighbor from the old show “Home Improvement”.

Ok, your new gravatar totally rocks. Is that you in that retro look? It’s like film noir. Very classy.
