3½ Time-Outs Tuesday: Fun Day Trips Edition

Summer is nearly here, and in addition to the typical summer fun, I’m looking forward to doing a few touristy things right here in our own Colorado backyard!


So somehow I’ve never gotten around to actually visiting Bishop’s Castle. Handmade in the San Isabel National Forest by one rather paranoid man, the three story structure stands as an ongoing build, open to tourists year round – provided they sign the guest book as a release of liability. As a person who sometimes dreams in MYST, words can’t really express my desire to visit this place. Continue reading
